What if my service falls on a holiday or rain day?

You will be serviced the next day.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my service?

We need at least 24 hours’ notice for service changes or cancellation. Call our office at 817-921-2222 to speak with us or leave a message in our “service change” voice mailbox.

            What if I want some extra work done? i.e: trimming bushes, hand weeding, general clean up, removing dead plants, turning beds, etc.

Just let us know in advance of your service day so we can print the instructions on the paperwork. The crew will document the time they spend on the extra projects and you are billed
based on the $165.00 per hour for a three man crew.  During our busy season, we will need to send a different crew for the extra jobs. 
There can be a minimum time of 2-3 hours for these jobs; however, we may be able to shorten the minimum if you are flexible on the date we do the work. 

Does Smith charge extra for removing leaves?

Site conditions may require us to complete leaf clean up prior to mowing. Due to the wear on our equipment if we feel there is too much debris, (sticks and leaves)
that we can't just mow over we will bag leaves first. If we need to bag up leaves, there is a $5.00 per bag fee to cover the extra time and labor. You can avoid this additional cost
by making sure everything is raked and removed prior to the lawn crew arriving.

What if I forget to unlock my gate? 

            If we cannot service your yard in full due to locked gate, dog in back, addition workers performing in part of yard, we will service the area that is available. Unfortunately, we do not
            issue a credit for the part of the yard that was not able to be serviced. We will be back and service the entire yard on your next regularly scheduled date. If needed, you may cancel
            or reschedule service 24 hours prior to your scheduled date.

What services do you provide?

We are a full service professional landscape company. We design, install, service, and maintain landscape, irrigation systems, and trees, for residential and commercial properties.

What do you charge for an irrigation inspection?

The cost for an irrigation inspection and estimate is $115.00 per hour, with a minimum fee of 1 hour. Our technician will examine your irrigation system and fix/replace everything
we can within that hour. You are charged the hourly rate plus parts used. (heads, pipe, etc.) Over one hour - you are charged in 15 min increments. If more extensive repairs are required,
you will be charged just for the irrigation inspection and we will provide you with an estimate for needed repairs.

            What if I have an issue with the service I received?

Smith Lawn and Tree is a client focused company. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations in everything that we do and pride ourselves on our ability to perform all aspects of
landscape design, installation, and maintenance in a qualified professional manner. We make commitments to clients, then live up to them. However, we realize that exceptional circumstances
may take place with regard to the character of the product or services we provide. 

If you are not completely satisfied with our service, simply contact us within 24-48 hours. Please give us the opportunity to make sure you are a satisfied customer.

Do you charge tax?

We are required to charge sales tax on all of our services.

Is a deposit required?

We require a deposit on all jobs $1,000.00 and higher.  The down payment  of 50% will allow us to reserve you a date on the schedule.

When is my bill due and how can I pay?

Payment is due in full upon completion. We accept Visa, Maser Card and Discover. You can pay online at or  by phone at 817-921-2222. 
You can also mail a check to 3200 Handley Ederville Road, Richland Hills, TX  76118. We have the option to email you a link to pay by check online.
